At Evvoke we’re committed to protecting the personal information of our clients and will look after the information entrusted to us and keep it safely and securely, both online and offline. 

Privacy and disclosure

Evvoke collects personal data for the sole purpose of performing any legal and personal aspects related to a ceremony, to ensure we abide by the Marriage Act 1961 and provide a professional and meaningful ceremony for the parties and their guests. 

We will never disclose these details to any third party without written consent, unless required in response to a threat of legal proceedings as for example in response to a Court Order or a subpoena. Further, if Evvoke is requested by the police or any regulatory or government authority investigating suspected illegal activities to provide personal information or other data collected and/or information concerning a client’s activities we are legally obliged to do so. 

Evvoke may share information about clients in aggregate with third parties including advertisers, business partners and sponsors, to understand trends and patterns, and to manage and improve our service. Such information will be anonymous so that clients’ privacy is protected.

Consent

By providing information to Evvoke clients consent to the use of this information by Evvoke in the fulfillment of the requirements for the ceremony. Following the ceremony, Evvoke may approach the client for feedback and to provide a testimonial and photos/video for use in Evvoke marketing. We will only use such information as provided to Evvoke with client consent.

Information provided to Evvoke when engaging our services may include (but is not limited to):

  • Full names
  • Dates of birth
  • Birthplace
  • Street addresses
  • Email addresses
  • Phone numbers
  • Occupation
  • Conjugal status
  • Fathers and mothers’ names and countries of birth
  • Numbers and details of previous marriages and children of previous marriages
  • Names of witnesses
  • Details of intended ceremony – date, location, time etc
  • ID documents – birth certificates + drivers licences or passports
  • Payment Information
